    interior leaking?

I want to know if anyone has run into the problem that I am having. Somehow whenever it rains it seems to be leaking down in the floorboard passenger side down there. I want to know how to go about fixing this because it makes my ride SMELL like mildew. Any accords had this problem?answers?

Im not sure of this but i do know that under the passenenger dash thier is about a one inch whole cut in the metal which is covered by plastic. its for wires to run through from the battery. Its not to hard to push out so if you look down thier it could be that it came out.

mine seemed to do that a while ago, but I discovered that someone had just kicked off one of the lines to what I assume was part of the a/c condenser. Look around down there for any loose hoses...

otherwise, no that hasn't happened to me.

best way to find out for sure is have someone with a hose let it run on your car on the outside about where you think it's coming from. you should be inside with a flashlight and be looking under the dash. works every time.

Thanks for the replies guys but I looked up under there and I couldn't find the problem. its not leaking where you run the wires I know for sure but it seems to be leaking in the floorboard up under the carpet or something. O well just another little thing I am going to have to fix.

do what black and tan said, that should narrow your search a little.

trunk leaks are almost always from the seals that go around the taillight housings. can replace the gasket or seal the gasket with liquid gasket.
