    Troubleshooting!!!

Ok well I had a great day today, today is the first day I actualy drove my car and it ran hard but had problems.

Ok well it started off by just cruzing and the idle was a little annoying when I stopped but I actualy think it might possibly be air bubbles in my cooling system. What do you think, It idles at 1200 and when it surges it idles between 1200 and 1500.

2nd when I drove it the speedometer hardly ever worked it would like go to the spped and back down and 5 seconds later it would go to the speed again but It only did this when I got on the gas and floored it.

3rd This is what happned, I would go to a complete stop put it in first(I have an auto)and hold the brake and rev up to 2200 thousand and launch, 1st was great it hauled crazy I would throw it in second at 6000RPM and when it got into second I didn't feel any real power untill It slowly worked its way up to about 4000 and then it would take off and then it was time to stop after It got to about 5000RPM.

Also when just putting it in drive 4 and get on the gas it would stay at 2000 unless I realy got on the gas hard. What mightr be the problem, would having low tranny fluid cause this along with 2nd gear. Thanks alot

Once again I just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point in my project and always making prompt replies to my smart as well as very noob questions, I sill have a long way to go but its getting there slowly but sherly.I want to thank the whole CB7tuner comunity for everything

well the surging is most likely cause by your iacv or egr valve. but bleed the coolant system just for the hell of it. also check your idle to see if it is idling at 750-1000 rpm when warm, if not adjust. and the rest i couldnt really tell you. if anything pull some codes.

Check/adjust the tranny kick-down cable, too. And if you suspect low fluid, then check it.

I also forgot to mention that my sport button stays on.I have a kill switch with both wires going to the pins on the switch and it wouldnt go off, I completely took out the switch and it was still on.
