    Man, oh man, window problems..

Ok, I wanna know where the plug is for a computer scan..I was gonna run a scan with our computer equipment at work today, but I got soo many wires, that I cannot find the damn plug. I know it's under the driver's side, but other then that, I got no idea. Basically, I need it to scan where my vaccum leak is (if that's possible) since my motor revs and stuff. Also, more importantly, I need to know what my issue is with my passenger window. See, I replaced the lock actuator, but now the darn door's window will not roll down! The pass. button go up, and the window wants to go up (even though it's shut) I push the same button down, and it will not roll down. The driver's window button for the passenger window( I think it's called the master switch) will not roll the window down or up at all..the driver's window works just fine, but the passenger can't be controlled by either switch, except by the passenger switch, and only going up. I dunno what it could be..? no, the driver's safety lock is not on, for the power to that window, and I know it's all reconnected...man, it is hot around here too..btw, it's a 92 ex coupe..

95 and older vehicles are OBD1 and they do not have the conventional 16 pin DLC (data link connector) which are found on 96+ OBD II vehicles. You can however pull flash codes by jumping the 2 pin connector found under the right side of the glovebox. This however will only give you trouble codes for the emission control system, you cannot check for vacuum leaks with it or diagnose window problems. As far as your window issue, its more than likely a bad master control switch. See if you can get your hands on a known good one from another 90-93 2dr Accord, that is if you happen to know someone else with one, and see if that fixes the problem. If you don't, buy yourself a repair manual and do the appropriate input tests. Oh yeah, and why do you think you have a vacuum leak....details?
