intake question

im poor and cheap and im looking for something right now in the short ram.... im not looking for a cold air right now, cuz i live in central texas and it floods about every two weeks (not joking either, in the past month it has FLOODED up past the bottom of my doors about 3 times) and im not looking to stick a straw in a water puddle and have my stuff lock up) anywsy im not looking into that until i have enough for a really good one and get the thing you can put on the pipe that eliminates the problem with the water/straw thing that goes on here. so anyway i found one on ebay that was pretty cheap and was wondering what you guys that know about stuff think about it... keep in mind im not looking for something spectacular, just a cheap mod to start off with until i can afford some nice stuff

Short ram intake off of eBay. Won't cost too much. Itll stay dry since its completely in the engine compartment.

If you are worried about sucking up water, get an AEM CAI with the bypass. Itll cost more but itll keep you from the phenomenon know as hydrolock.

Hell for $20 it has to free up the intake a little bit, thats not a bad deal at all. I see you already bought it tho, let us know how it works !
