    bent valves

my friend has a h23 with 4 bent valves.. how can u bend 4 valves on just one cylinder.. i was expecting to hear him say 2 intake valve from x cylinder and 2 exhaust from x cylinder since the valve all have different strokes..

he said it jumped timing and its a twin cam head.. but it still seems fishy..

because all 4 valves can't be open at the same time for the piston to hit unless. one of the cam gear jump timing while the other one didn't i dunno i just need somebody to point out what i'm missing here.. still seems fishy..

my question wasn't how did he bend 4 valve.. i know thats possible but how did all 4 get bent on a cylinder.. usually it would be 2 and 2.. 2 from 1 cyl. and 2 from another. that is my question

His motor is talented thats why. He pulled the head and said he bent all 4. Whether or not this is true I do not know. He pulled his head not me. His timing skipped at least 3-4 teeth as he said when he took off the timing covers to check. I was surprised he didnt mess up anything. He coulda just been saying he was replacing all 4. I know he had 0 compression in one cylinder which explains his valve stuck or bent. All I know is that its an h23 with built bottom end.

and thats why it sound fishy... not that easy to bend 4 valves one on cylinder.. it would take alot to do that.. but um yea it turned out to be just one which sounds more like it and reasonable..
