    Cruise Control - Not Working?

When I was shooting down the NJ Turnpike this past Saturday I tried to engage Cruise, and when I hit Set (after engaging the primary) the car would stay for 5 sec, then coast down. Whats up with that?

So it holds the speed for 5 secs and then loses speed? Does the green "cruis control" light i nthe cluster stay lit? If so I would check the vacum lines to the actuator and make sure the vacum canister in the drivers fender for the cc actuator isn't broken

I had the same problem. There is a vacuum amplifier under the left fender. Follow the vacuum hoses from the cruise actuator. I had a small leak in mine. A quick fix, I plugged the vacuum hose going in to the fender. The cruise takes a bit longer to come up to speed but works ok. I hope this helps.
