    Broken spring

i recently found out that my front left driver's side spring is broken. i've found someone that has a 97 accord would the front strut/spring combos be able to fit my 92 accord. also would there be a difference between abs and non-abs models.

if i change the whole shock and spring assembly would i need a spring compressor and how difficult would this procedure be.

would i also need an alignment after changing the struts and springs

A spring compressor is definately a reccommended investment, which can be had for under 20$, however its not required. An alignment would be benificial too, but not recommended. Yes, the springs/struts from the 97 accord will work, however now is your time to go aftermarket as it will most likely be cheaper than OEM parts.
