Car only starts at night...

Yup just as the title says, the car only starts at night. Well technically only in cool weather. Let me tell you whats wrong.

For the past 4-5 months my car's been acting funny here and there.
On really hot days, my car will not start. It may, but only after several cranks (30). Well at least it used to start after time...now it only does in cool weather.

Anyway, I changed the sparkplug wires and plugs, have an optima battery thats in top condition.

Also when I crank it its a strong crank, not a dying out one. So my SOS cry is to wonder what it could be. My friend said it could be a weak alternator. It's definately not the starter.

its deffinatly ur Main Realy bro i had that same fing prob with my Cb it only worked when it was cool outside if it was hot she wouldnt do nothing cheack ur Main bro keep us up dated

Well both of my friends had that issue. When it happened to them, their cars wouldnt turn over. With a main relay bad, would it still crank?

does the car feel weak? like power wise?

edit: yea, i put my money on main relay. the solder points are old and weak. sold er new points and ur good to go.

Main relay as everyone mention. Look for the solder DIY saves you money.

bro just take ur old 1 out and resolder the connections it will be like new again it really easy

i let someone else do the solder but i heard its easy, but you can pick n pull and pocket a main relay.

honda will charge ya ass. stealerships ftl
