Paypal really sucks... if you file a claim you had better hope that the person hasn't transfered the funds out of their paypal acct... otherwise Paypal will say there's nothing they can do and that's it...

and if you get your CC involved in a dispute or do a chargeback after having payed thru paypal... Paypal will cancel your acct...

There really is no protection through paypal...

Contact your credit card company if you haven't already. They'll send you a form that you'll have to fill out to dispute it. I think they send you info monthly with your statement on how to dispute.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you did get your product. Her descriptions were so vague that it's complete interpritation... And that's the way a court would look at it. You'd been better off had you got nothing.

As for the bent rims, I had bends in four rims and you couldn't tell it by driving it, they balanced out.

Doesn't Paypal offer buyer protection now for an extra charge on purchases? Are you guys saying that doesn't work? By reading over it, it looks like it would cover you if unsatisfied. But, that's only if you bought it.

my friend sold sumone a AS IS motor it was a AUTO... the guy asked for a AUTO.. but the auto tranny wouldnt bolt in to the car.. so they took him yto court over it... my friend had to pay the guy for the shit it took to make the motor fix...so he had to paay for a maunal swap...

Don't know. I'd still persue the credit card option. I think there's an area on there about unsatisfactory products.

As for persuing the actual person, your in different states right? Laws will vary. It's not so easy to do so, unless that's what happened in your case Rolling.

I don't know what other correspondences you all may have had. It's pretty obvious she seemed elusive and that she has terrible grammar. I would imagine that she's not been in the States too long, but I could be wrong. Threaten her with IRS..lol.
