i stopped over oneoff's house to try to get his car running after he did a few things, including a partial wire tuck.
the car starts and idles fine. fuel pressure is ~25-30 at idle (what is stock supposed to be?). no CELs at idle.
the moment you give it ANY gas, it instantly bogs out and stalls. and by any throttle, i mean even the SLIGHTEST bit will kill it.
if a vacuum line is disconnected (to let more air in without having to press the pedal) the idle raises like normal, and it still idles fine. so its not necessarily giving it more air that is the problem, its actually pressing on the pedal that causes it.
that led me to believe it would be TPS related. we did not adjust it, because its still the same exact place it was before. even with the TPS disconnected, it has the same symptoms, but of course just with a CEL.
what could cause this? its running on a "new" map on the chipped P06, is there something about a specific ECU tune that could cause this symptom?
