    A/C Line (low)

Some of you may have seen my last post on my a/c conversion.

Well I have some news, the jb weld DOES NOT hold.

    so no one try that!

Now I need a low side ac line.... if anyone knows where I can get one, or if you have one laying around let me know!

Also, If anyone has a good Idea of fixing this pin sized hole, let me know.

I thought about removing the line and brazing it, and I thought of soldering it, and then covering it with a rubber hose and clamping it, but i would rather replace it.

I have called some new parts dealers, and no one carries the low side.

now i have to start looking used. MAN this sucks! it is too damn hot, and getting hotter!

well I am off to the store in my Honda powered oven.... get back to me soon... LOL

The low pressure line still has enough pressure to blow out any rubber hose. And there were 2 different types of compressor available for our cars, And the lines differ for each So you have to get the line that corresponds to your compressor.

I guess I will have to check the compressor before I go to pick-a-part then

the low side should only have 45-50 psi.... but your right that would pop a rubber hose. What I was saying is I wanted to solder the line, then cover the soldered area with a hose and clamps just to be sure....

Thanks for the info about the compressor, I didn't know that!
