Front Moter mount replacement help

How do you loosen the bolt on the frame that holds the base of the front mount. I even tried jacking up the wrench end with my hydrolic jack to get the bolt to begin to loosen.

My best guess now is that you need to loosen the passenger side bolt that happens to have a tranny coolent hose right in front of it.

I couldn't find it in the shop manual.

Oh, I did get the top bolt out without any problems. The mount is broken up top but can't loosen the bottom bolt.

only one side loosens. the other is welded on.

That's what I had to conclude after all my efforts but it will be a bitch to get the trany hose out of the way to get at the bolt.

I took out the left side fan, made it a lot easier and the hose just moved out of the way.

I thought of that but wasn't ready this evening to try to do it. Sounds like it will solve the problems.

Yeah, you can get the wrench in there once you take out the fan...the connector to the fan is a bitch though so watch out... Everything seems to want to fight me when I changed my mount. I broke a new socket wrench from home depot after i tried to unscrew the welded side lol. Good thing it had a lifetime guarentee on it!!

Took some time but the job is done. Just miss the rain. Was putting the tools away when the rain bagan.

I'm surprised that the socket on mine didnt' break.
