Not sure if its really something that'll show up in a search, so here goes.
If I remember correctly, stock F22A limit is 6,400 RPM.
Your shifting is about perfect for stock, many people (me included) have power drop quickly after around 5,500 RPM anyways.

You can rev it to 7000rpm , but I think the limiter is set a 6800 so you have to remove the rev limiter in the ecu, but I'm not sure how useful it would be to rev it to 7000

If you seen the videos maybe those people are swapped w/ an H22. Thus justifying the revs past redline.

But I usually shift at 5500 or so rpm on my F22.

          Sold, but not forgotten.

IF you go past 5,500 your just doing it for noise, because the power is gone

But I see what you mean, I saw somebody with the F20A shifting at 7800rpm
            wat?

We have rev limiters built into the stock ECU to protect our valvetrains. The motor doesn't make any more power at that rpm either. Unless you're racing, bringing the motor to such high rpm on a daily basis is justing wasting gas.

              ...adjust accordingly

about 5500 when if feel like scooting but yeah the car really doesn't make power after that. i believe if you put a f22a6 ecu in the rev limiter is gone.
hey. my cb7 has morphed. haha.

Not quite, pt6 ecu(f22a6) takes care of the speed limiter.

with my stock f22 5500 rpm then with the p12 ecu and i/h/e it keeps pulling until around 6300 rpm which ive only done on highway pulls. when i beat on my bitch i take it to 6000 rpm usually.

i think hes talking about a rev limiter also, not speed govenor

Yeah, pt6 has a rev limiter but no speed limiter(governor).
