my h22a auto is kinda weird, at 2000 rpms it will hesitate unless i jump on the gas. i will keep the foot on the pedal for the car at a constant linearly accelerating speed and then when it shifts and hits 2000 rpms it will hesitate there for a second then break loose off of 2000 rpms and start rising again w/ more power. when it hits 2000 rpms it feels like a loss of hp and power, anyone have a reason for this? maybe the fuel pump ( has died on me once so far... )

Sounds to me like an ignition problem, perhaps the igniter coil is failing.
Something you could check. I think fuel problems are usually fairly obvious, like all or none. Ignition can often be more fickle until it just fails altogether.
Of course, this being a swap it could be a grounding issue.
on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

do you have the EGR valve functional. if so....could be dirty.
its hard to diagnose these sorts of things, because there are so many factors to consider. what was replaced at the time of the swap? if nothing major have you done any maintanence on it lately? how old is ur o2 sensor....blah!
kinda need to think of whats been replaced & what hasnt.
we can throw all sorts of possibilities/reason at you......Last edited by SMseagren83; 07-13-2007, 02:18 AM.F22a1-->F22A-->H22A-->auto-2-5spd-->K20 6spd-->F22C 6spd RWD-->4G63 6spd AWD-->K24 6spd????
02 sensor is original o2 sensor from f22, egr valve was replaced w/ the f22 egr, distributor rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires were replaced,i wouldnt say the ignitor coil is failing because the swap was a very clean and from a 95.
that doesnt mean much at all. most importers clean the motors anyways. and it being a 95, doesnt validate any kind of mileage. its still unknown.
look at the coil for any discoloration/purple-bluish or white, heat spots. thats an indicator of a bad or going bad coil.
u might wanna consider replacing the o2..even if its not the problem. if its original i bet its not doing the best job.F22a1-->F22A-->H22A-->auto-2-5spd-->K20 6spd-->F22C 6spd RWD-->4G63 6spd AWD-->K24 6spd????
