Timer relay.

OK, let me explain what im talking about and then ask the question.
On the bumper poles, with a button switch, you need a timing relay to let the power know to stop giving power because the pole is up/down.
On the auto windows, the ones that you just press one time, let go and it goes down/up all the way, they use a timing relay also, correct?
My question is... Can i use the relay from the auto window for the bumper pole? Would i be able to use that whole switch and retro fit it?

And dont say just buy one with everything included, if i did i wouldnt be asking this.

no, i dont believe u cant use it. i believe its all integrated into the window master switch. not just a simple power relay.

not only that, but the auto switch for the window is only for it to roll down....isnt it. lol

I would PM members that have a bumper pole and see how they wired theres in. I am pretty sure there is a switch somewhere in the pole assembly to where it gets to a certain point it will send a signal for it to stop gettin voltage...but thats just me. A good thing to look at would be your antennae and compare it basically the same stuff.
