If I find that my stock MAP sensor on my red Accord is the bad part, I need to get another for my white project Accord.

Since you have spares, if I need one, can I get a good one from you that works for 90-93 Accords?

How much shipped to Dundee, MI 48131.

    Thanks,

    Cisco

Preludeman92, you need to clear your PM box. Do you have an extra stock MAP sensor that is good to sell, I'm interested? You mentioned about having extras.

Sorry, clean now. Didn't know we only get 70 messages including anything we've sent. Try now.

so o2 sensor was changed and problem solved? my car hardly does the whole flat spot acceleration because of the fuel pressure regulator which set the fuel pressure at around 30 psi... it should be okay right? i get about 26 27 mpg with about 70 hwy and 30 city and occasional vtecing... maybe i should look into splicing my o2 sensor...

Don't just jump to conclusions. Test the voltage the sensor is putting out. If it's out of whack, do something about it. A bench test of the O2 sensor apparently tells little to nothing.

So I thought my problem was gone. It was fine over the winter the few times I drove the car. However I took it out last weekend and it was worse than ever... I was idling at 19.3:1 AFR!

I called a master tech friend of mine and he was convinced it was the IAT, MAP, ECU, or TPS. I told him 5 ECU's do it and the MAP has been replaced already. He had me replace the IAT which only made the problem worse. I tested the TPS for him again, and it read .50V closed, which isn't horrible.

He was still convinced it was the TPS, so I just changed that (actually the whole TB to a stock GSR one). Seems to have done the trick. I've got a 250 mile trip this weekend that will hopefully tell me for sure. Wish me luck!

The TPS didn't fix it completely. I might just need to readjust it though. It will spuratically have a boucy idle and when it steadys out, it will run super lean. Inner city driving will produce the same lean conditions. Highways aren't a problem right now.

I think I'm going to replace the coil with an MSD one (will at some point anyways) and maybe replace the engine harness if that doesn't work. I've replaced every sensor on the engine with one that I know works correctly and it hasn't fixed anything.
