    start up problems

been working on the coupe i just picked up and its having problems starting. sometimes it will take 2-3 turns of the key before it cranks up and other times it will take 8-10 turns before starting. Now tonight when i was trying to leave my girlfriends house it would not crank at all.

Now the only thing i did recently was bypass the neutral switch because it broke which was working fine till this past week when the startup problems started.

any suggestions or info on what you guys think might be the problem? im gona work on it 2maro so any info would be appreciated thanks

sounds to me like it's 3 POSSIBLE things:

    1)Starter

    2)Main Relay

    3)Ignitor
...that's all i can think of ..could be all 3 at once.

    *Needs*
    -New shocks
    -Struts
    -Drop
    -Cleaning
    -New Tires/Wheels
    -New Window Tint
    -Alot more lovin'

      REPEAT:

      Main relay....

      Ignitor...

      AND/OR

      Ignition switch...

I had that same problem with my ignition switch a LONG while ago!

      OR...

Negative Ground wire from battery to Starter!!!!! double check your starter wire!!

it may be the starter wire is corroded and has some broken wires inside that bundle!

question: is your starter wire corroded with blueish-green corrosion>?????????

if it is....its time to replace that wire! ..( the one going to the starter from the battery )
