Well it's not my head gasket, I had that checked, I had my thermostat replaced, the coolant flushed and my manifold wrapped. so today I was driving and once again my temp gauge started rising. It was hot as hell just like the other day when it rose up. On a cooler day no problems with it, just when it's hot and I'm in traffic or when the car is idling. So either I need a bigger radiator or I need another fan. Or can it be something else?

there is a host of different things you can do to try and cool your system better.
1. drain some fluid and add water (water cools better than antifreeze)
2. buy a 10" slim fan and stick it on the other side of the radiator and put it on a switch. so when you see your temp rising just flick the switch and leave it on
3. remove thermostat (not really recommended) although i have mine out right now, its ok for once your car is warm but it takes a while for it to get to operating temp.
4. try Redline Water Wetter (never tried it but heard its descent <sp?)

Redline water wetter works. MY teacher uses it in his drag car back in tx. Make sure your fan is comin on. And the system is properly bled.

Have you gone to like napa auto prts to buy a block checker?? I'm not sure how to describe it to you but it uses a blue liquid/water to check for a head gasket leak. if there is a leak, the blue will turn yellowish green. It sounds like you may have a warped head. overheat bad enough and it will warp the head.

You can find redline water wetter anywhere. Oreillys has it the internet anywhere. I would leave the fan constantly running and see if that does anything instead of using the t-stat to turn it on and off all the time if you havent done that.

I dont think it's a warped head. It didnt overheat in cooler conditions, it only does it when it's really hot outside. If I had a warped head wouldnt it be overheating most of the time? I mean it is possible, but I'm just trying to narrow down the symptoms. I think I might put a blocker to force air into the rad, etiher that of a slim fan on the other side of the rad...if theres space

Well if you wanna ghetto check your radiator get a heat gun or borrow one and measure the temp when the engine is at operating temp. The radiator should be about equal temp across the thing. If you find any abnormal hot spots that indicates a clog in the radiator. You can also use your hand if you can get it in there but I dont really recommend if you havent done before lol.
