    help on fuel issue

Ok my bro got his car to crank now. but it takes starting fluid to run it. btw i dont have to shave my arm now. the engine backfired on me and burned most of the hair off, but im fine.

anyways we changed the fuel filter, checked for fuel pressure. everythings ok. but i stuck a bounty paper in the spark plug hole and it isn't shooting out. maybe bad compression? we're changing the injectors tomarrow, if that doesnt work, we'll pick up a h23. but for now, does anyone know whats going on?

btw its a 96 accord lx.

so you have fuel pressure at the rail correct?

i had a similar issue with an f22b dohc swap into a 96 accord, it turned out be bad injectors. i was getting power and ground to the injectors but they were not firing. try a resistor box if you have one laying around first

if it backfired, recheck your timing
