Well I finally got my car put back together last night. After talking to a few people and doing some shopping I almost pretty sure that there was nothing wrong with my wheel bearings at all - and that I probably actually screwed them up by trying to seperate them. I ended up just buying a used pair of bearings and hubs from a couple of junk yards for a total of $60. Not too bad I guess and they are both OEM that appear to be in decent shape.
I did not machine the new rotors and so far the car seems to stop fine without any more wobble when breaking.
Be careful not to damage your ball joint boots or tie rod end boots when disassmebling the knuckle if you go that route. I could have ordered some new boots online but it would have taken several days to get them and I wanted my car put back together so the best option I found was to just buy a new ball joint and tie rod end for a total of $32. (The boots would have been around $15 shipped) I just used the boots because after all of this I really didn't want to get into another project!
Anyway - what a pain in the a@#$ but it is back together. Thanks!
