Now would be the best time to invest in a floor jack and jack stand combo.
Jacking point locations are in front of the rear tires and behind the front tires depending on which end your dealing with. Place the stand under a suspension a-arm or other obvious sturdy point.
Never get underneath a car supported by a jack only.

Really...I know the place your talking about but I always thought it would cromble in if I jacked up there...Originally posted by pwrusr
there's also a place under the trunk. you shouldn't be able to miss it. it's a bump (for lack of a better word :P) that comes down.
If I jack the rear I always put the jack on the frame, right behind the gas tank, and in front of the spare tire well.

well my floor jack doesn't even go under the car now that its lowered, and the car drive up stands definetely don't work....so maple you drive up on wood blocks then the car ramps?? also what does everyone else do when your car is lowered...i don't want to have to use the stock jack that comes with the car.Originally posted by fizzbob7 i think the "jdm everything" craze is funny........it's the same thing, a fad.......and an overpriced one at that

No, I just hit a few switches and my car is sittin higher than stock.
But back when I had coilovers, I bought a couple of 2"x8"x10' peices of wood, cut them up and made some LONG slow sloping ramps that would enable me to get the jack underneath...other ramps I wasnt able to drive on because they where too short with too much of an incline.
