auto shift cable lever!

I took the cotterpin out...to transfer the lever to the new shift cable..and I CAN'T get the damn lever off the old cable.

anybody know how to get this damn thing off???

* I got it unhook from inside the cabin.....got it unbolted from the tranny and undercarriage....

got it out...took the cotterpin off...and the fucking lever wont come off!

theres 2 10mm bolts holding it to the lever, not including that cotter pin that you need to pry out.

actually..there isn't it was just that cotterpin...and thats about it. its a rod that goes through the lever and shift cable end.

but I can't get that off...to put the lever on the other cable.



NOTE: Imma just try to drill through it...OR take a cutting wheel and cut the rod off then tap the pieces that stuck in the lever brackets...and just use a threaded bolt ..washers..and nut to take the place of this stubborn rod.
