    Tune up

I'm trying to give my car a tune up before a trip to Kansas City, but none of the local parts stores(O'reilly, Autozone) have what I need. Where can I get OEM Sparkplug wires, cap and rotor?

Yeah, but the stealerships are expensive as hell. I was hoping for somewhere online that has NGK or DENSO stuff at below dealer prices.

What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I don't use anything other than OEM. To me, the added quality is worth the extra money.

Well, some how I burnt a hole through the plastic piece that goes down to the spark plug, and had to limp home on three cylinders. So I need new ones.

              eh...

either Autozone or Advance Auto parts carries NGK spark plugs...it's one or the other. PM me as a reminder and I'll hook you up a weblink that sells NGK wires. Also, for filters you can go purolator. However, for distributor cap & rotor DO NOT substitute for anything other than Honda OEM. I've been told by Honda mechanics aftermarket cap & rotors will not suffice Honda engines and they'll wear faster & not perform well.

Thats strange...I got my NGK spark plug wires and Denso spark plugs from Autozone. They carry the NGK spark plugs too but they get sold fast. They always have to keep restocking.

I know this has been covered before, but I'm too lazy to read through all the bullshit. What is OEM oil filter brand. Or what's the best oil filter? Thanks for the other info, I'll try advance auto parts.

OEM spark plugs create a stronger more consistant spark than the aftermarket ones and its been proven.. Especially on the high end of the band..

its not that its a stronger consistant spark...hehe all of them do that...if it was a longer spark then that wouldnt be good =)

really oem spark plugs were designed for our car out of the ffactory..so why should we invest in aftermarket plugs that run higher performance when our cars are only a 2.2l inline4? really those good expensive ones in my opinion is if your running more than standard system...like maybe a msd coil system or turbo etc.

                            just my opinion.
