E-brake issues after rear disc swap

Well about a month ago i did the rear disc conversion on my car. Everything worked great, but now when i pull on the ebrake, it doesnt make a clicking sound and i can feel that its only holding the passenger side rear....I'm not sure what i should check or what i can do. Any suggestions?

I already tried that, it made the handle tighter but it still doesnt click like it should :-(

you might also see if both cables are aligned properly, as in making sure they are both pulled through the same amount.

was it like that from the beginning? Or did it just start recently?

If its recently, then it has to be something that went/got lose from vibrations and stuff like that.

Also, you said only holds the passanger side but not the drivers side? did you check if its even still connected at the rear drivers side?

i would make sure you installed the new ebrake cables correctly as far as how they are run under the car.

Yeah as above. I did mine ages ago and only recently realised I had one side running the wrong side of the swaybar endlink. Was making them uneven. Not by much but you might have it doing something else a bit crazier.

Also. If it isn't making the clicking noise then that's in the ratchet at the handle. Nothing to do with the rest of it.

The day i installed the lines i made sure that they were even once they were in the car, even bolted all the lines down underneath 1st just to make sure.

Well it was pretty recent, at first when the handle was pulled it would lock both sides and the car wouldnt move even when put in drive. Now if i put it in drive i can feel the passenger side hold, but not the drivers side.

I'll have to check my rear driverside see whats up, because i dont see how something could have just come off, especially since its a pressure and a pin holding the wire to the caliper...

Do any of you guys happen to have any pics of how you ran the wires for the driverside?

you need to make sure that the notch in the caliper piston is lined up with the tab on the brake pad
