    the brakin' blues/ Help!!!!

i have just recently worked on my brakes doing everything that is possible to make them work properly. i just replaced my M.C. and bench bleed it, bled all the brakes starting from the farthest tire away from the M.C. i got new pads, just recently replaced the calipers, and had the rotors and drums resurfaced. but still i have to push my brake pedal almost to the ground to get any resistance. ( this is with the car on, when off the pedal stiffens normally) so whats the deal, ive never heard of the power brake booster going out on hondas, and the only left that i have not touched is the proportioning valve or the power brake booster.

When your car is on and you apply the brakes do you hear a hissing sound? Because my pedal drops real far before i get resistance and once I'm on the brakes I can hear a hissing, like a vacuum leak. It's my brake booster. Also, my car when at idle, with the brakes depressed, the idle raises to around 1500, then drops to a little below 1000, then up to 1500 again. It does that over and over again. It's cuz of the vacuum leak in the brake booster. I though it was the check valve, then thought it was the two lines to the check valve, but both are fully replaced and the problem is still here so it's my brake booster.

Just in case your problem still persists and maybe you're symptoms are the same as mine.
