    Just got a 'remanufactured' transmission..

And Ive been told not to rev it over 3k rpm (which is HARD with an auto ) for about 1000 miles so it seals and doesnt break. Anyone know if this is true and/or what I should do?

What they mean is no drag racing, or manually holding the gears for extended periods of time.
Just drive the car normally, and yes, it's ok to go over 3500 rpm's

Not hard at all using 's' mode. if you just drive it nomally with that 's' mode switch on it'll go to like 4500. silly automatic.
