    leather seats

hey i got i quick question. i dont have time to look this up so ill just ask. I found an acura legend at a local junk yard. It has beautiful black leather in it. It would kill me to see the seats get destroyed. I was wondering how hard it is to put them in my cb7 coupe. they have power, which i dont really care about, im good with electronics, so i could figure it out. I just wanna know if i should spent the $ to try and get em'

my lil' bro has a mig welder, so i can do some modification easilly. Please yall help me out. im savin for a turbo kit, but im gonna pass that up for the leather seats it they can go into my cb.

You can make anything fit with fabrication. Thats why there was a thread in one of the appearance forums with what seats you can put in the car.

iight. 120 bucks for passenger and driver. They are junkyard leather, but the best ive ever found. Im goin on thirsday wit my bro to get em. My girl is not happy couse they got 3 holes in them between 2 seats, but screw it, she would love me if they were goin in her car. They are all power seats, so i just pray that all that works.....I think i can easilly wire up all the electronics to the fuse box. I figure if i can wire up my remote starter to a 5 speed, i can wire up some pwer seats. ill keep posting.

Lol beat you to it. I did this a few weeks ago. Although I haven't had time to finish up the electronics and 2 bolts on each seat. You will find out that you can aling 2 bolts on each seat and one can be placed with a bracket and the remaining one welded or drilled to the chassis. Here's my thread

Let me know how it goes and if you do the electronics before I do let me know so I can do it faster lol.

yeah man. i jsut found your thread yesterday. If i had found it a week ago i would already have the seats. That was just what i needed to see! But yeah, my dad is certified with eletric stuff, and i really good with it, so i dont think electronics will be a problem, given that eveythiing on the seats works. Ill try and get pics, and let you know how it goes.

the height is adjustable on my drivers side one and I have it low, they are very comfortable compared to the cb7 too.

My plans are to find another set of coupe seats and have them wraped in black leather and then I'll sell my back SE interior. I actually don't think it looks bad at all with the mix matched interior lol, I like how the front black leather matches the dash and the back is tan leather and matches everything else.
