    Code 22 vtec pressure switch

chipped ecu (civic ecu converted po6?) , h22a... Runs fine except I just got the code 22 vtec pressure switch... Ran without the light for months before and after a couple runs with the new ecu it came on. Oil level and pressure is correct ?! I followed the swap guide on this forum of how to wire that circuit.

Well I have been looking around and JDM h22a do not have a vtec pressure switch. I was running a JDM p13 ecu and now since I am running a USDM ecu I am having this problem

How do they not have a pressure switch??? The jdm and usdm motors are identical on they outside except for the engine stamp. Sensors and everything.

Then please explain. If you had 2 cb's next to each other and both of them had h22's in them, you would not be able to tell which one has the jdm and the usdm unless you looked at the engine stamp. And yes there is a vtec pressure switch on the jdm h22a because i had to wire it into the ecu when i did my swap.

Single wire from the solenoid no pressure switch... At least on mine

Of course the jdm h22 have a vtec pressure switch. You need to take yours apart and clean it!

                Thanks

But it should be the plug with 2 wires coming out.

The green plug is the pressure switch.

I have what looks to be a oem style bolt where the pressure with would be. If you search bigger sites like ht there are other people with the same setup

Yea it is the green plug and its the single wire. Sorry for the miss info in previous post. But when i ordered my motor it came with a bolt where the green switch should have been. I just took the bolt out and put a new switch in.
