    help!! running rough and rich

hey guys i recently put in a f22b1 engine in my wagon. been driving it fine for a week now and now its giving me issues. out of the blue the engine started to run sough. idles rough and running super rich to the point that it's smoking out the exhaust and damn its strong! won't let me pass 3500 rpms and its pissing me off, lol. anyways i used my old harness, it was all plug and play. the code i got from it was 16 which its fuel injectors. now my injectors don't even have 400 mile son them, they are new from honda. i pul them off to clean them up a bit and make sure evrything was fine in the connections. have no clue what to do. what else could it be guys.

      So you're using the f22b1 ecu?(p0a I think)

Did you swap pins a6 and a11? If not, do it and see what happens.

you need the POA BUddy f22b1 5spd ECU .
get the ECU first and then work your way from there .
i had one i recently got rid of it

check your IACV ,clean that up or replace it and see how she runs

I agree with phil, IACV, then 02, rough idle can be caused by a really messed up 02. Are you using the 02 off a F22AX? or a Bx? reason i say is because the wires COULD be different causing a ecu misread, and ajusting for it. If the ECU is mapping itself off the old motor, or how it was running before, that could cause some issues, try resetting it (pull the fuse) and leave it for 10 mins, put back in, and start er up, see if any of that helps (it helped for me, gas milage corrected itself after i forgot to pull the fuse when i did my header.)

ok guys , after fuel filter, spark plugs, new o2 sensor, computer swaps. it turns out i have really bad gas in my car for being cheap. i used b12 and it ran fine for like 15 mins. then back to the same fuel injector code. btw i swapped the ininjectors as well. so what can i do ? i have 440 worth of gas in my car? is there anythjing else u guys think i can mix in my gas? or should i pay a local should to drain it out for me? i can do it but to messy and my house will stick for days. any help will be appreciate it

My original white Accord engine, F22a4, lost compression in cylinder # 3 (later found burnt exhaust valves). Anyhow, car still driveable, not much passing power because 3 cyls, but I removed injector connect at # 3 to waste less fuel. When I did that I got a CEL and also it would not let me go past 3500 rpm. When you hit that rpm, it feels like a fuel cut-off or you hit a wall. This happened because of disconnecting that one injector.

My point is, checking your wiring or connections to each injector, perhaps you have an open. Are you missing in one cylinder and it would explain you running rich as well.

That's your problem I would think....or a part of it at least... sounds like something else is having issues as well... but I would start there and see what happens then troubleshoot anything else after that is corrected.

otherwise it's pointless to offer advice.
now i'm using my stock 91 harness not the 5th gen one. nw where can i get the info concerning switching pins if i need to do so
also when i dumped a fuel cleaner and swapped the fuel filter it ran just fine for like 5 mins and then back to same crappy idle
