    long time problems

has anyone with an auto experienced before a rough, jerky idle in park or in gear then when you slightly let off the brake it jerks while it rolling,,, i mean all plugs new , wires new, fuel filter changed in march ,all vac lines new, bg gas treatment ,air filter, new egr ports cleaned ,heres the kicker though,,, i only have a egr code that appears when engine gets hot and ive been threw 3 egr valves that good from other friends cb's and code still there ,,,,, can someone help me please.....

well with the egr i would say that the ports for the egr are blocked and not the actual egr itself. Cause if your ports are clogged then your egr is not going to function right and im sure that would cause you to throw cels.

Check your distributor cap and rotar. Clean them or replace them.

Excuse the obvious, but you did clear the code before you tried the other valves correct?

I've been having troubles that are similar, but I've replaced so many things, I'm starting to think its the torque converter or a part inside the transmission, which to me means it will just have to stay broke that way.

where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Yep I got that problem too. And basically ive done all the things you have to get rid of this. idk, its weird. Everytime I put my foot on the brake to slow down, it jerks then, but everytime I just let my foot off the gas to slow down, its ok..

                  3 ideas

                  1) you crossed up your vac lines when reconnected.
                  2) i think its a broken motor mount the rear one. its mounted on frame rail behind the engine below the intake. since its auto it controlled by pressure from brakes and when you brake it softens. and it stiffens above 850rpm. its like a hydraulic mount exclusive to automatic rear mounts.
3)- are you sure its a egr code? maybe it the egr soleniod in the mystery box above the fuel filter. it controls the egr lift.

just some ideas. could be a combo of both

                      read this

read above and you might see why im saying this. or maybe you crossed the vacuum lines between the rear mount and egr or egr solenoid.

does it only do this ONCE right when put in Drive and rolling away?

but the egr has vaccum at it from the black box someone here said they removed that solinoid or something got rid of cell and still passed emissions but that dont help my stumbling idle and my jerk on a rollaway anyone????

I was going to say the same thing, I've got an auto and the same problem. Basically with the rear mount being broken it lets the engine physically moe back and forth, causing really bad jerking and vibrations.
