      did you say...surging idle?

might want to replace or change over your TPS! and...replace all the gaskets!

surging ...could result from dirty of faulty IACV....blown intake gaskets or Head gasket.

so check all those out as well

its the revvin up and down, i'm pretty sure its just the iacv, it seems to do it more now that the weather is colder, it only did it occasionally when it was warmer, but its got to the point where i can't stand it anymore

When the whether is an issue it is either IAC or IM gaskets. When it is warmer the gasket will swell more than when cold. I had the same problem on my 95 accord when i first put the sohc vtec back in. I tried all that shit but it turned out to be the IM gasket was leaking at the head. I sprayed either on but it didn't change anything. But i changed the gasket and it was all better. But when i look back and think about it, you may possibly have an air pocket in your cooling system. I would try and rebleed it. Good luck. Let me know how your frosty cb7 is going. I have one now too, damn near identical car. I bought it off of sn2bh22cb7 (kenny).

OK so check this i have replaced the IACV and also the fast idle valve now, but my idle has seemed to get worse Checked the intake gasket couldn't find it to be leaking anywhere, I'm thinkin maybe i don't have the lines run correctly. I had to loop a hose to the IACV becasue my friend didn't have collnat runnin to it at all.I started the hose from the nipple on the top of the t-stat housing(th eone that points straight up. and ran that to the far side of the IACV, then looped that back to the fast idle valve(the one bolted to the bottom of the throttle body). and there is a second hose coming off the side of the thermostat housing that goes to the throttle body. I CANNOT find diagrams for this at all. So any help or info would be MUCH appreciated thanks and PLEASE HELP
