I HAVE A PHANTOM 5"RPM TACH WITH A SHIFTLITE HOW HARD WHO IT BE FOR ME TO INSTALL IT IS THERE A DIY IN THE THREADS THAT WILL TELL ME WHERE THE WIRES HAVE TO GO... WHERE WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO MOUNT IT AND DOES NAME BRAND REALLY MATTER I GOT IT BRAND NEW FOR 50 GOOD OR BADY BUY ? HELP ME OUT AND LET ME KNOW

You would probably have to splice into the rpm sensor wires. I have to ask why are you installing a tach if all Accord's already come with a tach?

jst to have it there i have always liked them and a shift lite will improve my driving

should be three wires red black green black is ground (duh) red should be your power supply and the green you splice to your distubiteri belive its the blue wire not sure i will deff let you now later have this see my shift lite

Is it worth taking it to a shop for them to put it in ? Where do i tap the positive and negitive wires in to cause im good with wires i wired up my whole system with neons and everything .

personally i would not pay a shop to do some thing you could do yourself it really isnt that hard. the black you should ground some were on the chassi the red i connected mine to my ingtion fuse i belive not sure again i can let you know later on and the green again i belive to the blue wire on the distr

tach input- solid blue wire on dizzy .use wire tap.

switched wire-hook to radio fuse via fuse tap.

ground-to good bare metal-metal body ground

light wire-hook to dimmer switch on input side or to cig lighter light.

mount where it can been seen @ a glance.
and for the love of all that is cb!! hide your wires!
any wire that can be seen cove w/ wire loom.black not any ricer colors,make it respectable!

btw. a tach does not make you fast.
