Just got the thing swapped in and running but I have a list of problems. The idle fluctuates from 1k to 2.5k constantly. I have the black box under the intake manifold but it was left out of the system. When I take it out on the road it will barely get up to 40 mph because of the massive power loss. The dizzy is set in the middle. I cant set the timing because of the idle issue. I set the timing belt back in exactly how I found it which looked pretty good to me. All of the vacuum hoses are hooked up. My main problem is the very massive power loss when taking off. It feels like its not getting enough fuel or something.

I found that the timing was the cause of the power loss. Obviously I put the timing belt on wrong or something. I can actually get it up to 60 now but its not gettin there as quick. I got the dizzy cranked all the way forward and I am running regular gas in it. But back to the idle issue....I tightend up a idle control valve under the TB. I took off the plate behind it and tightened up that little white ring and it didnt do it any good. It stops when I unplug one of the idle controls on the front of the intake manifold but the idle still jumps up and down but not as bad as it used to. Any more ideas?
