torque....from a 4 cylinder......no, its not gonna happen, so don't even try. If you want torque, buy a V8. If you want fuel economy, buy a 4 cyl. to satisfy my need for torque, I have a LS1 I'm in the process of building.....I just have to find something to put it in. As far as my Accord, I'm keeping it as my daily driver, nice, stock, and great fuel milage.Last edited by mrhonda; 08-03-2004, 11:10 PM.00 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 4X4

If I build this engine up, keyword if, I think Ill stick with the F22. And N/A. Ive always thought starting with more torque than hp would be a good thing. I also wouldnt be going for "fast" because thats not possible with a fwd economy car. If I do this, Id be going for "a bit quicker than average"

You can do that im not sure how far would it go though . Youll be spending more than your thinkin about power out of that block unless its seriously built isnt worth it. You can that amount and then some if you swap it with the h22 which is good in my opinion or boost.
With the swap youll spend a decent amount but your motor is weak for build but strong for boost. the h is good for build but semi-weak for boost unless built. with the swap youd still make more than what you have if it was built imo and it the H-series is reliable for daily driving.

Just get a swap and get it over with why even talk about more power in your car unless your serious about it. The H seap is very well worth it if you dont like power the forget about it then. speed isnt cheap bro. reliable and fast not cheap, cheap fast not good , cheap and reliable not fast.
