    Code 43 & o2 Sensor

    hi,

i got a code 43 and i read about the problems and stuff others have had and people recommend changing the o2 sensor, so that's what i'll be doing, i'm just wondering if it's still ok to drive for a while before i get it changed, since it's new years and i'm a bit low on cash i'll be needing to wait a bit... would it still be ok for a while? maybe 2-3 weeks or so...also how much would it be for the part?

    Thanks

yea you wont have any problems. its just gonna run rich which means you are gonna burn more gas. but you shouldnt have no problems driving

On my old gsr the wires were ripped out of the plug, so when i put them back into the plug they ended up being wrong so i just ripped them out and drove for like 2and a half months til the whether got better and put in a new O2 sensor.

        ok, thanks

any ideas on how much it'd cost for the part?
and does the o2 sensor have to do with idling? cos since the CEL came on i've had idling problems, it goes really low, like it almost stalls,

        thanks again

yeah it can affect the idling, but you might be having problems with your main relay too
