    Headlight turning on automatically

alright ive been trying to find the answer to this problem for a while now before i do a HID conversion because this would royally screw up my ballest and such.

So i turn on my car and the Ebrake is engaged. When i release it my headlights turn on without me turning on the head light switch in the steering column. I can turn the light switch to turn on the headlights but sometimes I can't turn them off. I am more leaning towards its the switch in my steering column but im hoping its not.
This problem happen with you guys and gals too?

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

thanks for the input but it isn't the Daytime Running lights. It turns on my regular beams to full strength. I guessing its my steering colum switch because i can sometimes turn it off and sometimes can't i have to click it a few times. Anyone else has suggestions?

is it just the headlights or do the tail lights come on also?

If it is just the headlights and you can't figure the problem out just turn your headlights on whenever you start the car. That is what I do for safety.

I believe it is just the headlights that turn on but I will check tomorrow. What could it be if its just the headlights turning on?

              sounds like the switch/stalk

early 90's hondas were bad about that. they'll also cut off at night when going down the road or not switch from dim to bright when you want them to.
