I would be weary of an aftermath applied coating on bearings. Honda OEM bearings are already good quality. The bearing clearances are so tight and the differences between the sizes so small, that taking into account a coating which may be very well inconsistent and can possibly wear later, is ridiculous to me. I would concentrate on choosing a good bearing clearance for your application and running a good motor oil, with sufficient oil flow in all your driving conditions.

After building up my motor, I have a new respect for Honda OEM quality. Aftermarket parts/services are hard to compare and you have to go over the parts with a fine tooth comb to ensure they are made/fit properly. I like my motto of simplicity, the more you add to the equation, the more you have to check and the more that can go wrong or will add problems later.

I can see coating on the piston skirts and ceramic coating piston tops. However, even the coating on piston skirts makes me a bit weary. I'd have to investigate in some studies/results after some mileage on some of these products.
