Side Mirror Broke

My side mirrors are the folding type and after parking the car on a very cold night, I attempted to fold the driver's side in. I guess I must've applied too much pressure cuz I heard a loud pop and now the mirror is just totally loose and sways freely at the pivot point. The powered glass is not affected since I can still control it from inside. Is there a spring that can be replaced inside or do I have to buy another complete assembly?

i have a set of black 91 power mirrors you can use not jdm power folding of course but stock oem replacements if you need to replace which it sound like you do. the mirrors from honda are a non servicable item. just replaced. pm if interested they are cheap let me know

Thanks for the offer. But I live on a very narrow street and every week or so I see someone's mirror hanging cuz a delivery truck or maybe the sanitation truck swiped it trying to get through. I've been driving with a piece of cardboard wedged at the hinge to prevent it from folding while driving.
