Today I was thinking of all the stuff people can do to the f22 aand get reltively good numbers...
So I thought to myself, what could a person do to get most out of there f series with little to no effort that could be done in the driveway with a set of hand tools....
So for starters...
An f22a6 bottom plenum with a H23 upper plenum and tb, also added to that an additional butterfly plate with the butterflys removed. A p12 ecu with a window switch to activate the butterflys(this will maximize low end torque when needed and add the extra hp when needed). A short ram intake, or cold air. A header and full exhaust. Possibly a 272 regrind for even more power, iv seen them run for $100 so there no0t too bad...
Wouldnt it be possible to put 160Hp to the wheels with a setup like this, possibly more?
I was also thinking, I remember reading that the hondata intake mannifold gasket lowered intake temp and added like 3 to 4 hp, I know they have one for the F22 vtecs but will it also work on a non vtec?
If running a 5spd then a 12lb flywheel and an aftermarket clutch...Couldnt you be laying down 160 or more to the wheels....and you could possibly see very nice numbers on the track in good conditions and with a good driver...
