still getting bad gas mileage

I have a f22a6 93 ex, i recently replace the fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap and rotor, valve cover gasket kit, and i have the right amount of tire pressure in my tires, running about 40 ibs. they are kuhmo and can hold fifty, what should i do, im getting 22mpg

hmm your tires, they can hold a max of 50psi but you have only 40? maybe you should up it to like 45/46?

i pulled the codes as well, and its a code 12, defective egr or short in the egr circuit, i have cleaned it out with carbon cleaner already. the check engine light was on before that though, so im sure i didnt fuck anything up putting it back. My abs light was flashing too, it would flash quick twice, and then a pause with one more flash, then pause and back to the two quick flashes. i guess i need to look at my egr, and figure out if there is a short.

pull intake and really really clean it blast the egr ports. honda has a kit they make for drilling and tapping egr ports to clean. it's not expensive but time consuming. it will help alot. get some "B-12 Chemtool" to clean it be very careful that stuff is nasty and flammable as hell!!! compressed air and a de carbon agent and some time will be your best friend.
