Cleaner Looking Climate Control Knobs

I was at the junkyard and found a cd5 CC knob and got an idea.

Our knobs have an ugly yellow/mold looking tint to them. Switch it out for a nice clean white set of knobs.

Just incase someone doesn't know how to remove the knobs...

Grab it and pull

Installation is the reverse of removal haha

They only look yellow/moldy because they are old. The brand new knob I bought from the dealer for $6 was nice and white...

Yeah I first thought it was because it was just olod, but then i checked the part numbers for the cd5 and cb7 knobs, and they were different, so I figured ours were yellow for some reason haha.

Are the backs the same?

I noticed my original knobs and some knobs I picked from a yard, had different backs.

I wanna say the newer ones had like a metal cup or grip inside them.

I wish i had 2. I just have the one. It turns the level selector. The temp selector is so hard to turn, i need pliers.

You could just switch em when you need to change it lol

Ixnay my friend. My one and only knob isnt strong enough to turn the temp knob. That and it doesnt fit over the peg all the way...
