    diy blackhoused lights,try on ef?:

    I love the look and wanted to know if anyone has tried this on a 88-91 civic or if they know if it?

      idk..the glass is totally diffirent than cb7 (super clear glass)

      it's got all these lines


      but i don't see why it couldn't!

      i would try to find a spare set, and try it on that

        I thought about it... after I got new ones. It would look better with the lenses from aftermarket projectors on oem housings.

          yea i got two boys of mine tht got it done on their Ef's ill get pix in a minute... they look good on Eg's too!
          I sell slightly used tires for cheap, jus pm me what u need!

              you guys think I'll be safe trying the oven trick @ the same temp and go for the same amount of time?

                the oven trick is just to get the headlights to open

                you should be fine man =)

                  soon as i find a set locally i'll be trying this and hope it turns out like planned.i'll do step-by-step write-up w/tons of pics i know in the long run it will be helpful to some.but i'll have to name the folks who helped w/info.

                          I can't see the pic at the moment....But I did the blackhousing on my 88 CRX last year too. I actually had t open so I can reseal the glass and backing better since like alot of ef headlights, they were leaking. What a good time to try blackhousing!

                          Although they don't look as good as a 4th gen Accord blackhoused (stupid lines on the ef glass make it hard to distinguish), I think it does look better than stock.
