    DIY Request on shifter light

    Hi guys im looking for a diy on the lx 90 shifter light. Ive tried to replace the bulb but still no light =[

      I think he means the lights in the shifter.

        take off your center console.

        under the shifter plate to the left of either the D3 or D2 there's a wire

        take the wire and give it a twist at the base of it and the bulb should come out.

        replace and reinstall.

          Funny thing is I think I saw that with I put a new shift boot on.

            Talkin about shift lightss, it would b nice is some 1 made a diy on a vtec light.


            I don't have a h22 I have f22a6, closest thing ill feel 2 vtec til I get the real thing :rock:

              Why would you need a vtec light...IMO a pointless mod. Shift light is more beneficial...To wire up the lights for either is not hard either way.

                Is there any D.I.Y on doing a shift light on our CBs that are 5spd?

                  Yea you can tap into a wire behind the gauge cluster i forgot what color for a tach signal. I know its the blue wire off the distributor. I dunno if its the same when it goes all the way back to the cluster. I would double check but off the distributor its the blue wire.
