heh, I just used an aluminum strap, like the ones that come with shitty CAI and wrapped it around the shifter nice and tight and bolted the cable up to it. Now I KNOW it may not last a long time, but I did not have to cut my console to allow proper shifting. I did however have to remove the retaining ring from under the shift boot. And I HIGHLY recommend bending the right side of the plate that holds the cables back a little to fit the new angle. I found that not do so caused that shifts to be VERY tight, sometimes having to really push it into gear, obviously not THAT hard, but you get the point. I will try and get picks up tomorrow.
