    Intake Cold Air Box

Buy 1/2" thick R-MATTE Plus 3 insulation material which is silver on 1 side and white on the other and foam in the middle. Buy a clothes drier vent duct. Cut the R-MATTE to make a box. Glue it or use silver air cond. duct tape to put it together leave the top open, cut a 3" round hole on the end that faces the engine, put the intake pipe thru it and atach the filter from inside the box, run the vent duct from the hole in the inner fender to the bottom of the front bumper. This won't suck water into the engine because the air coming in is dumped into the box and not connected to the filter. You can also buy 3" black foam insulation from a refrigeration supply house and cover your intake pipe with it, you need to cut it in half length wise to make 2 pieces to be able to cover it, then use 3M exterior tape to put it together. This will only work with after market K & N type filters and intake pipes.
