    93accordfreak : 1993 Accord LX

Hi all, decided to show off my Auto, Rosewood 4-door.
It's been through a lot, and I'm glad it's still giving me joy every time I hit the pedal.

Around August '06, I let my buddy borrow it and the car was totalled (because it's old, ya know?). About 2 months later, I got it converted to a 90-91 nose (I liked the grille better) and all was pretty good for a while.
A short while later, timing belt snapped, but spared my valvetrain and head. This car won't die, and I won't let it.

    Current modifications:
    INT-
    '96 Prelude Factory CD Player
    Alpine 6.5" type S door/rear deck speakers
    Kicker C10 loaded enclosure
SPL 600w amp (Kole Audio, Power Acoustik, same thing)
    Infinity Reference 2 ohm tweets
Black rubber floor mats (too much mud in Mississippi for carpet)
    Working A/C (that's a mod, I SWEAR!)

    EXT-
American Racing 15" aluminum 5 spokes
    Bridgestone Turanza 195/60/R15's
    OEM Led Trunk Spoiler
Amber corner/Black bumper turn signals (swapped from all black)
    Silverstar headlight bulbs
    90-91 nose conversion
OEM 90-91 fogs w/ OEM Acura Yellow caps
    Legend front lip
Aftermarket 55w driving lights (converted to 100w)
    DIY Accord emblem grille
LX-R badging (long story, it was a joke, but it's different so I left it )
    OEM mud guards
DIY running lights in the bumper signals, 1157 bulb mod. (see pic 2 below)
    Red/Clear Tails
    Hood Bra (sportiness +1)

    Performance/Engine/Etc.-
Stock internal F22A1, 200k+ mile club
    Prelude P12 ECU
Spoon Sports Oil Cap (JAY DEE EM YO.)
Neuspeed 4 point front strut bar
    eBay/generic short ram intake w/ K&N filter
eBay/generic test pipe (yeah I know, killing the environment, shoot me)
OEM Accord EX/SE muffler w/ OEM tips
    Bosch plug wires
NGK GP series plugs (Autozone #7098)
Interstate Megatron Plus Battery. I don't like needing jump-starts.
'95 Odyssey/Prelude 95 amp alternator (pulley swap and it bolts in)

    Coming soon-
    Custom cold air box?
    Bisi Stage 2 cam
    H23 runners/F22A6 intake manifold (TORQUE.)
    Vigor rear sway bar install
    Paint job? (someday...)

    Didn't work out?-
~Neuspeed Race Springs w/ Tokico Illuminas (came and went in a day, giving it a second shot when I can afford alignment parts and sport springs.)
~Header. Torque was devastated, powerband was shifted too high to be useful and my gas mileage dropped by 5mpg. I'm averaging 24mpg on 89 octane without it.

    And finally, PICS!

Dropped for a day, but my wrecked car decided it didn't like that...

So I went back to this...

Yessir, I like how "open" the 90-91 bumper looks.
That's my girl in the last couple pics, in the white sunglasses.

And thanks for the title edit, and the kind words everyone.

Good job on the repairs man. It's not often you see a '93 converted to '91 (I'm going to be doing the exact opposite when I find time to paint the parts).

I'll bet you think twice before loaning her out again.
