how did you blow the engine?

all i need to do was just replace the head. One of the exhaust valve was burned. So i thought hell it winter time and the car is going to sit i should just rebuild the engine for bigger boost.

Ok guys here is a update with the car. I have the engine back in the car and running. I will have pic up later because it is dark outside when i get off from work. The 16g turbo will go back on about april or so. Then i will get a tune and then back on the road by summer.

updates
Well the engine i put in was bad. I put 20 mile on it and it had a noise coming for the block.So I pull it and return it for a another one.This engine runs alot better and I have the 16g turbo on this one. I have Chessboxer(Mike) old ecu that needs to be tune again. Here is some pics
