Indeed she does. I really need to take some time and clean around the area where that sensor is. Just to see if that will make a difference

          Quick update..

Okay so, the a6 motor is gone. Swapped it out with a replacement F22a4. Wasn't as bad as I thought swapping a motor. Anyway, car runs, no codes(threw an O2 sensor code but fixed that). I have a few goodies in the garage I'm going to start putting on. Right now, I'm focusing on the suspension(balljoints, tierods etc) and I'm saving the money for that. I think that's it. Time to update the first page

I was thinking about you the other day man and how you hadn't posted in like forever. Glad to see you're still working on her. Where'd you do the swap? If you have any questions about suspension stuff shoot it my way.

Outside in that one area of the driveway. Rented a cherrypicker from homedepot for a week, pulled the motor and wheeled it in the garage to swap over the IM and trans to the a4. The only problem I had about the whole thing was lifting the trans off the floor to line up with the motor. Everything else was kinda easy.

As far as the suspension stuff goes, I want to update/upgrade the old stuff so when i do start getting ready to lower it, I'll have some peace of mind knowing I'm not lowering the car on old parts. I know for a fact that the balljoints need replacing on the driver side. I'm getting that done first chance I get.

Thank you sir. I agree with you on the paint but that's probably going to be the last thing I get done since I will most likely take it to a shop nearby that will prep, paint and repair most if not all the little dents/dings etc. The only thing about it, it's kinda expensive(they quoted me $2200) but I seen their work and I think it'll be worth it. Get it all done in one trip

The current issue with the car now is the transmission. I drained what I could from it when I was doing the swap and it was just disgusting. It looked like really burnt oil. Refilled it with honda atf, did fine up until last monday when it "slipped" for a moment and corrected itself. Now it's throwing tcu codes 8 and 14.

Yeah. I'm going to replace the solenoids first to see if that takes care of codes. Might even go ahead and pick up a couple of tcu's...just in case.
