Cool. I have tried to install mine and drilled the holes and everything. I am not happy with the results at all and I couldn't reach the bolts from inside the trunk to put the nuts on when it was mounted. I found it super frustrating, but yours looks awesome. And it sounds like you are going to do it again on a 92-93 trunk. Any help would be super helpfull.

paint the trunk same color as car and hood. paint flushy blk and get a bra for the front, it will b sick lookin man.
heres a pic pf my bra elvis and heres a pic of oneoffaccord engine bay, kinda simliar in color of ur car.
