still curious about the exact method and mount you used for the front motor mount. please help (pm or aim) so i can install my turbo this weekend. if i don't figure out exactly which one i'll have to wait till i install my new tranny, clutch, flywheel, and poly motor mount filler....among a whole bunch of other stuff. btw sam at japanstarmotor.com will give you a f22b trany (m2j5) for about 300 bucks shipped to your house. just fyi. i got mine for 250 but i also bought an h22 tranny......

man sorry about the mount, i just havent gone to the junk recently. so is the tranny that came with the f22b dohc different than what came with the a4?

That's cool you pieced that together, and have it running good and all. I don't think painting the turbo sounds like a good idea, but it's working for you. Nice sleeper.

Black paint keeps heat in. That might be alright on the exhaust side, but not for the intake. I wouldn't want to do anything to make a turbo run hotter.

no kidding, i hit the dyno today and hit 194whp and 211 trq. it was just the basic 3 runs thang with no air fuel for 40 bux. ehh its good enough for 8psi i need tuning!!!!!!!!!

did u have a chance to run the hybrid map?? i know it was detonating the first time we tried it but u never got back online.. WTF U AT H03 nice numbers btw..
